Maryland-based Marriott Hotel Services will manage the Yacht Harbor Tower in Waikiki.
Marriott spokesman Thomas Marder confirmed the agreement between Marriott and eRealty Companies of San Diego, but declined to provide details. Anekona Development Group sold the 360-room Yacht Harbor Tower in 2006 for more than $100 million to the private investment firm, which has been renovating the property at a cost of more than $30 million. Yacht Harbor Tower is connectd to the Ilikai hotel, which is owned by Anekona. The refurbished hotel will re-open as a luxury hotel as early as January 2009. Marriott International properties in Hawaii include the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina and the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. By triangle.bizjournals |
